The sister being the "fictional" one from US, who sent the mail about MS
closing us down?  And wait a minute, aren't you the Treasurer for LUGS?  So
the hole is in ...

And seriously, for what its worth: I see little alternative to sending out
the "suspend" messages.  Perhaps people offering suggestions should manage a
list for some time?  The sheer administrative headache is, well, a headache.
