Re: MySQL start problem

hi

     start mysql in safe mode by

   ./bin/safe_mysqld --user=root --pid-file=/home/mysql/var/mysql.pid --datadir=/usr/local/mysql/data/ --old-protocol &

then login in mysql as root
and fix the problem
