Hi Console apps look different depending upon the type of terminal from where they were invoked. e.g slrn runs fine in a virtual console but produces funny characters and goofy colors when running in xterm or screen. Playing around with $TERM seems to help in some situations. I dont care much about the colors, but is there any easy way to get rid of the funny characters? bye :) Anmol
