Off topic: Help: Recovering data from crashed HDD.

Hi, 

    This has nothing to do with linux but still is rather important.
    I need some information about recovering data from a crashed
    (literally) hard disk (Windows 98 4GB Seagate disk and no, it is
    not my disk).  I know that there are some amazing services around
    the world.  There are a few folks in India who do this too but I
    want to know if there are any such service providers in Chennai -
    or at least near Chennai (say Bangalore)?  Anyone have any
    experience?  If so who is the best in India (even if they are not
    in Chennai)?
