<thaths>I am sorry. I don't completely understand ur (God! All that irc-ing is

<thaths>secure and the insecure server running on the same machine
<thaths>www.companyname.com The insecure one serves content via http on port 80

My requirement is as follows
Currently I have the secure and insecure stuff on the same server and it
is working fine. The latter works as http://www.companyname.com and the
former as https://www.comapnyname.com/directory/...
We plan to split this into two and continue to use the same Verisign cert
in the name of www.companyname.com.
Is it possible to have the /directory alias on new server (which will
now be www.compnayname.com) point to https://oldserverIP/directory, so
that everything works as before?
Hope it is clear.

TIA.
