Hi Anurag,
                Check if you the module for the card is loaded. Youy can do
this by the comman #lsmod . If the module is not loaded then if  your card
if Novell 2000 compatible card then add the following line to you
/etc/conf.modules file

alias eth0 ne2k-pci
