Re: Can any one please tell me..

Hi !

We've got an interface box from the US that does this job of sharing resources
(mouse, keyboard & monitor) between a 2 PCs, but I think you can order one to
your specification at Richie Street.

The specifications of the converter/controller box will be something like:
a. 2 serial port interfaces from the box connecting to serial ports of each of
the PC & 1 serial port interface connecting to the mouse.
b. 2 monitor interfaces from the box conecting to each of the PC & 1 monitor
interface connecting to the monitor.
c. 2 keyboard interfaces from the box connecting to each of the PC & 1 keyboard
interface connecting to the keyboard.
d. A toggle switch connecting either one of the 2 PCs online to the
keyboard-mouse-monitor resources.

**Note: In all there'll be 9 sockets interfaces on the box **

If you're an electronic/PC hardware enthusiast, you can even make one yourself :
)... It's not too tough.

regards
Sridhar
