Thats true.

VSNL domains were used by spammers very extensively and this used to be a
point of discussion in some newsgroups, giving an impression that all
Indians are spammers, although the real culprits may be someone elsewhere
(even in US). It was only recently that they have secured their sendmail
with anti-spam features. Just another case of carelessness like the
sendmail hacking at BARC (which created news headlines worldwide).


PS: Similarly, several IRC servers are said to have blacklisted the Indian
(VSNL) domains, due to obvious reasons....
