Well Sorry the thread was ended but still...

If QTDIR is not set, configure does not run. It aborts with an error. I did
that. Anyway I am downloading latest snapshots of gcc dated 22 jan. I hope it
works....

GCC2.95.2 has  documented note that it can not generate object files for HPUX11.
