when I give `smbclient -L digitel`, the result is
[root@ws1] /home/jijutm# smbclient -L digitel
Added interface ip=192.168.1.1 bcast=192.168.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0

when I give `smbclient -L linux`, the result is

[root@ws1] /home/jijutm# smbclient -L linux
Added interface ip=192.168.1.1 bcast=192.168.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
session request to LINUX failed
session request to *SMBSERVER failed
note than Server list is showing LINUX as Samba Server

I found out the problem, as maybe, reverse lookup and dns server problems.
I started getting
the telnets okay once the hosts file was properly put into place, on all
machines. Now I am
booting four 486/16 mb/s3vga/nodisk from a pentium 233/64 mb/4gb and running
gimp/abiword/
Tex etc. quite happy that I could (finally) switch all the publishing etc on
to linux. But still using
outlook and photoshop (habits) for some remote purpose.
