S3 is having an accelerated server, XFree86-S3V-3.3.3.1-49.i386.rpm
u have to install this, then XFree86-XF86Setup-3.3.3.1-49.i386.rpm
then XFree86-VGA16-3.3.3.1-49.i386.rpm

then fire up XF86Setup and do the config. with 2MB ram u should get 24bpp at
640x480
and 4MB u should get 32 bpp at 800x600
