[LI] problems with dialup

Hi,

I've been trying to setup ppp on a RedHat 6.0 Linux machine thru' dialup.

I've connected the modem to the machine.
Modem is connect to COM2 which is /dev/ttyS1.
With minicom I'm able to dial out.
When I try using chat there's no dial out in the modem. The chat just waits
for timeout and comes to the prompt.
My chatscript is as follows.
+ACI- +ACI- atz OK atdt172226 CONNECT +ACI- +ACI- ogin: +ADw-mylogin+AD4- word: +ADw-mypassword+AD4-

Please help.
