[LI] newbie help: writing network or net data structures

Hi LinuxIndia,

I need to write some C code defining and modifying 
(additions, deletions etc.) net or network data structures.

This is network as in DATA not computer networks
...Most of my college textbooks end with trees.

Can anyone roughly sketch out some example code?
