[LI] your system hangs! (fwd)

I am sending part of a mail that I got. I too experience the same problem.
Experienced users, please tell us where are we going wrong? I feel funny
that most of you are succesful with RH6.1 (am I assuming right?)

i think i got a company at last.
i thought i should share my experience with you .
my experience is given below:
1)with pcq rh5.2 - no problems of booting
2)with chip rh 6.0 very frequent "INIT:PANIC! segmentation fault" during
booting and hangs.
you may not believe i installed and reinstalled more than 25 times!! no
improvement.
3)with pcq rh6.1 - i removed all older versions-loaded 6.1
wow!! no problems!! but only for a month.again started the "boot
problem". ie;sometimes it boots and works fine.sometimes it says
readonly file system and hangs.sometimes some modules don't load.
normally 3rd or 4th booting ok.
i understand linux is v.stable and very tolerable w.r.to hardware but i
don't know what happened in this.
after it boots, every thing works but sometimes Xwindows crash,gnome
crashes very often.only wmaker,fvwm,kde found better,ofcourse staroffice
also.

What is this "INIT:PANIC?"
	What could be going wrong? I refuse to believe that Linux can be
this unstable!
