[LI] Mutt not Y2k compliant :.-(

Here is a portion my Mutt index.

As you see mail no. 83, has been sent on Feb 16 2036. Here is the date
as it appears on the Date: header of mail 83.

Date: 10 Jan 00 04:57:31 MST

So what does that mean? Mutt thinks 10 Jan 00 is Feb 16 2036 :-(
I did try editing a valid mail (with 4 digit year) and made its date
2 digit year. Mutt immediately said the mail was dated Feb 16 ...

So far I have seen only USANET web-mailer, sending out 2 digit dates.

Workaround? If I change 'index_format' to show the time when mail was
received by me, then everything is Ok. But then, the index obviously
will not show the time when mail was sent (which I need very much).

Any other suggestions? Or patches?

TIA.
