First check wether ur Apache Server is configured properly.

When u type http://<ur host ip number> say 192.168.1.12 as URL, the
browser will display the apache successfully configured page. If that goes
fine then ur apache server is running hale and hearty.

Next check whether in ur config files of apache are configured properly for 
the proper alias for ur destination directory

After all that Check ur script itself whether it is running properly in
the sense that it is able to read ur browser sent string and process on
it. Happy perl scripting .
