Hi Rajesh,
    When you downloaded them there must be a tag "freeware" or
"shareware", freeware can generally be redistributed , so can
shareware as long as you include  their copyright and period
of shareware use.
    In any case Linux utilities always carry the email ID of the
author of the shareware. When in doubt mail him. for email
ID check the readme or install file which comes with it.
Nice to know some us still believe in intellectual rights issues.
One of the main reasons I switched to Linux. No piracy :)
