[LI] ppp disconnects first time

Hi,
 I have a strange problem. When I dial up, the first time I
get connected,  the connection terminates after say 10 secs. The
second time there is no problem.
 Please help.

I use rp3 for dialing up.
This is the extract from /var/lock/messages

Please help fast else I shall have to use Windoze.
