[LI] erratic file size readings from CD ROM
Hi,
please read the output of the dir of my CD ROM as seen from WIndows
NT and LINUX. I was surprise that it should have any difference at all.
The problem started when I started to install Star Office on my
LINUX machine so51a_lnx_01.tar (about 67MB) but it gave the error that
it is not the correct archeive, then I noticed the incorrect file size
of the tarball. I got over this problem by booting into NT again and
copying the file to a DOS partition and from there transfered it to
LINUX partition. I got the installation done successfully but I am
curious why LINUX machine is showing the wrong file size only for this
CD ROM. I tried other CDs randomly & it was fine. One more thing the content
of this CD was downloaded from net on NTFS partition from where it was
written to this CD (it should not make diffrence to the best of my
knowledge).

I have deleted several lines from both the output to prevent others from
getting irritated.
I hope somebody knows why it is happening.
