[LI] Unable to boot from CD-ROM....

Hi list,

Need a little help... most probably I am missing something obvious... but I am unable to boot from the CD-drive of the
following machine, which I have to upgrade/re-install RHL 6.1 and install Oracle 8i EE.

Machine's Specs:

Original Intel DK440LX mobo,
dual proc --> PII 300,
256 MB DIMM
2 x Seagate Hawk SCSI HDD (ST34555N)
12x IDE CD-ROM drive.

The problem: Unable to boot from CD-ROM... tried with 5 different CD drives, the CDs I used are good as well, they
booted up fine on all the other machines I tested them on. I did manage to make the system boot from CD, after I
disabled the Adaptec AIC7895 SCSI adapter in the CMOS Setup.... but that of course would not get me anywhere ... ;-)

The fun part is that the system boots without any hiccup if I used a MS NT4.0 install CD.

TIA,
--Indra.
