[LI] Acer MV3147 display card support ?

Hi,
 I have my Acer MV3147 PnP Graphics display card running fine under
windows, alas! I have no option but to choose "generic vga" option during
X-windows configuration under Linux.I am using Linux 6.1 Chip CD.

 Have any one of you made this card running under Linux better? If yes
please suggest me to what should I do?
