Hi Listers,

This is highly **objectionable**. I would like to draw the attention of the list to the following facts:--

1. Unlike as claimed by Gaurav Goel in his post, that he "went to a web-site at http://linuxindia.webprovider.com"; he
*is* infact _the_ contact person mentioned on the web-page mentioned on http://linuxindia.webprovider.com website
(including his email_id gauravgoel@xxxxxxxx).

2. This post comes in right after we had the long-drawn discussion about posting policies re posting of commercial
nature .

3. This guy is promoting his site, and that too in a manner which is deceitful/misleading. (Moreover "free CDs" and
"email-addesses" are from http://linuxworld.zzn.com/ not directly from Goel as he makes it sound like).

4. Now the point I have most objection to --> He has prominently called himself/his "outlet" as "Linux India", eg.
"Welcome to Linux India". There is no declaration anywhere that says that his operations are in no way connected with
LI. 

If we had so much to object over the ILUG-Debian issue, what about this....?? The "Linux India" and "ILUG- <whatever>"
namespace belongs to the Indian Linux Users community and semi-fraudulent attempts by commercial interest to move into
and take over what we cherish should be resisted. I feel this is a purposeful gross misrepresentation to ride
piggy-back on LI's popularity. 

Proliferation and commercialisation of Linux will attract free-loaders looking towards making a quick buck. But that
Linux-India (started with all the best of interests by a bunch of geeks who were/are seriously committed to Linux and
OSS in general) should be the home of these creatures is highly disconcerting. 

Genuine commercial interests who keep in line with the list policies are acceptable on a tech list like LI, but this I
feel is too much... and I don't think I am over-reacting!
