[LI] startx not starting.

hi!
i was working on X windows wihtout any problems for quite some time.
next time when i started it shutdown and gave the following error message

-FontTransSocketUNIXConnect :Can't connect: errno = 111
failed to set default font path 'unix/: -1'
fatal server error
could not open defaultfont 'fixed'

-X11 TransSocketUNIXConnect errnono =111 giving up
xinit :connection refused(errno111)
unable to connect to X server.
xinit :No such process(errno 3);
server error

also the file system is unmounted  with
shutting down    XFontserver failed
