Nirmal:

You don't seem to take very kindly to being told the rules.

It doesn't matter what rules other lists follow - on *this* list *any*
kind of commercial post (including job offers) are to be tagged with the
[COMMERCIAL] tag.

In some offices, smoking is allowed. I am a smoker, too. But in my office,
I do not allow smoking - like everyone else, I step out on the road if I
want to have a smoke. Your coming in and saying "I can smoke in XYZ's
office, so I can smoke here, too" is just going to get you into trouble.

The first time it was pointed out to you, you should have accepted it
gracefully and made sure that in future you follow the rules. By sitting
and arguing about it you achieve nothing but bad blood, so let's give it a
rest, OK?

Thanks,

Atul
