[LI] Help Not able to login

HI guys
Since i was falling short of diskspace i deleted some seemingly harmless
packages thru YAST on my SuSE 6.2 box . After that i am unable to login
into my machine.
However I am able to login as root into a SINGLE user mode but dont know
what to do once in that mode . Even YAST exists out with a error message
