[LI] lp in Redhat 6.1

Hi all,
	I have seen some mails in linux-india mailing list about lp being
buggy in Redhat 6.1. In my server its runing fine but in another pentium
II box it is not detucting the lp devices. In 6.0 i was able to use it.
I have tried to configure it from bios, using modules in
/etc/rc.d/rc.local file

parport_probe
parport_pc
parport
and 
lp
But the lp ports are not detucted.. Any clues. or have we to go for kernel
compilation.
