[LI] Initscripts and ppp

After upgrading to the new initscripts release yesterday via the Redhat
Update Agent, my ppp mysteriously stopped working (both through kppp as
well as wvdial). Adding "noauth" to my /etc/ppp/options file (as
suggested by Atul on this list) did not help. I could get back online
only after uninstalling the new version and reinstalling the old one.
Does anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong? Does one have to
edit some config file after upgrading the initscripts package?
