In fact I had some sub-directories and some other files on the floppy and
not the one mentioned above.

the reason why you are seeing this garbage is because you haven't cleanly
mounted/unmounted the floppy.. or may have fschecked a live fillesystem
(unlikely, since you are not a BONEHEAD ! ;)

Reboot and cleanly mount your floppy
