[LI] Mentainance

As of now, I have only RedHat Linux on 4GB of my hard disk.  I have been using
this for about a month now.  I feel considerable decrease in the speed.. like
the startup of programs like StarOffice and multimedia application.

How do I mentain my system.  
I have been keeping a check on the log files.

The software said "Windows 95 or better" so I installed to Linux.
