Dear Listers,
	I have no problem in getting the net conn up and running as root.
And with a lil bit of tweaking (reminds Ravi of a similiar prob ;) got the
access on a non-priv user too. However, the problem is that while talking
to the modem and passing the init string ("AT&FXL13S10=200") KPPP expects
an init response of "OK" (which it gets when running as root). But as a
user, the response is "ERROR". Grump. :(
	I changed the init response string to "ERROR" and now it works
fine ! 
	What a work_around  ;)

	Whats going wrong ? s there any chance of frying my modem with
this trickery involved ?
