Re: [LI] partition problems

Hi,
Welcome to the Linux. May I give u one suggestion regarding the partitioning
of HDD? I used to partition my HDD using the "cfdisk" of Linux. It is
completely menu driven and believe me, it easier though powerful than
dos/win "fdisk". As u have made 4partitions (2pri + 2ext), I will suggest u
to make 4 pri partitions using "cfdisk" and make one of them, Linux native
root and install the bootloader in the first sector of that partition. So
that the LILO won't be in the MBR and hence has no chance of corruption. By
the way, don't forget to make the Linux native partition to be the active
partition.

Just a suggestion.

ps. do experiment with the above scheme in the next chance u get. So the
convertion is in progress ;-)
