hi,

one of my friends has an IBM machine with Matrox GD 200 graphics
acceleration card with 8MB VRAM.
he is not able to configure his video card for startx.
he gets a probe error and 'out of range' display when he selects any of
the resolutions
he has been able to configure it only in 4bit mode (on windows NT - he
can get 1600x1200 in 32 bit mode)
is there help possible ?
then i will ask him to post full details of his problem on the mailing
list
