Read up Raju's (Raj Mathur) article on Nov. '99 PCQ regarding why open source is secure....  security through obscurity
is one the worst models of security one can have. 

You know what happened at the PC Quest Users' Choice Awards '99 held on 4th Nov..... Aly Khan -- the compere, was
waxing about the anti-virus section's award.... and he made the mistake of blurting out something like "almost everyone
among us had to face a virus in the last year, which has been marked by many new viral strains.... is there anybody
here who did not have to face a single virus in the last year??" Almost 20+ hands went up instantly.... they belonged
almost exclusively to the Linux-India stall volunteers ;-)
