[LI] System Hangs

Hi all,

I Installed 6.1 Red Hat PC-quest Nov CD here.  When I run "minicom" and 
"Spreadsheet" the system hangs , after several minitues nothing working but 
screensaver is running.  Can anybody tell what is happening and What is the 
next step?
