[LI] Midi files not playing

Hi everybody,

I have installed Red Hat 6.1 from PCQ Nov. CD.

I can play mp3, wav files as well as play audio CD. But 
am unable to play midi files. In KMIDI it shows that the file is
playing but no sound is coming from speaker.

My sound card is Creative Ensonique PCI64
CARDTYPE=ES1371

It was autodetected in sndconfig.

Can anybody help me.
