That - or dig around to see if you have something like GoZilla  or 
Get Right in Linux.  Most newer ftp servers have this capablity to 
allow you to resume broken downloads.  Gozilla etc do better - they 
search for and  cycle betn. different download locations to give you 
fastest possible throughput.

Finally, Ajit - I saw from yr headers that your server meghadoot is 
running sendmail 5.65 - this is DANGEROUS.

Get yr sysadmin to upgrade to 8.9.x sendmail IMMEDIATELY.  Your 
sendmail is outdated, unsupported and has so many security holes, 
any tom, dick and harry can gain root access on your server without 
much effort (as you know, sendmail runs as uid 0)
