[LI] strange Fetchmail message

Today I am seeing following message.

fetchmail: unimplemented
======================
after which fetching is happening happily.  I have never seen this
message earlier.  Despite this message fetching is working alright.
Also "fetchmail -V" shows all the parameters etc, and doesn't show
anything to the effect.  On my system fetchmail is installed so,

What could be the problem?
