[LI] dos partition cp problem

hi there,
    i had some important files to be copied from a linux partition to a
dos partition .. when i did this i see that the file size is not the
same in these diff file systems..... is this natural or is there some
error during copying..... i used cp -r to copy a directory ......

    the problem is a 5kb file in linux is reported as 15kb in dos
partition < used du to check this > but a directory if 15526kb in linux
is reported as 15470kb in dos partition... any thing to say here ??
