	AFAIK, official debian ftp sites do not carry kde because of qt 1.4x
licensing restrictions. U can always get the debs from ftp.us.kde.org
from the /distributions directory.

	Concerning Deb updates from PCQ/Chip, we'll have to wait and see. For
the moment, the internet is ur best bet.

	I think all the dpkg & dependency stuff is confusing you! Check the
dpkg man pages once again even though u have already been there - the
truth is in there. Also, there is absolutely no point tinkering with
debian without reading the policy manual and other related docs.
