Hi sridhar,

Probably u have tried to configure ur sound card with sndconfig. Due to
that, some sound modules are already loaded at the time of booting. U are
getting device busy message as some modules are already loaded and are using
the sound card. U can check this by 'lsmod' command. So, prior to the
loading of ur intended device module, unload the already loaded sound
modules which are in the memory and using the sound device. U can do it for
testing, by 'rmmod' command. Please provide the screen dump of the 'lsmod'
command for specific answer to the problem.
