[LI] Re : Public Web browsing station

Hi,
Sunil Thomas asked if an account that runs netscape alone could be setup. Well, I
tried out a possible solution. You can setup the login shell in
/etc/passwd to "xinit netscape" instead of /bin/bash. You could give
absolute paths for better security (/usr/X11R6/bin/xinit /usr/bin/netscape on my RH5.2).
With this kind of setup, you dont even get a window-manager, only
pure netscape... As soon as you exit netscape, X-windows exits
and you return to the login prompt.
