use cfdisk instead of plain fdisk, as it is more easy to use. Then make it
ext2 type and
bootable partition (provided it is primary partition) and use Linux config
to load LILO.

save all the emails in ur windows partitions with save-as option of ur email
client software to a specific directory and then copy them to the LINUX
partion (hope u know howto mount the vfat partion in a Linux system).
