Great! I didn't know that Debian is so kewl.
Anyone for writing such apps (a generalised one!) for all distros of
Linux!? ;-) (I am not inviting .. just prodding!)

The latest C libraries? Wouldn't it be a pain to do that manually? And
then of course, all the dependent softwares .. also the latest GNOME and
KDE (I use none of them tho').
The later versions of Apache, linuxconf etc. which most people use?

Same thing with RedHat ...

But for people who want to live on the cutting edge, the best option is
to download the sources, compile and use them (manually).

(Why .. everyone doesn't use all the softwares .. u just need to keep tab
of those you want).

I run apache 1.3.9 with PHP4.0b2 (with Postgres, MySQL support) ... on my
RH6.0 box ;-)
