[LI] KPPP Problem

Hi all

When i try to connect to the net using kppp , i get the following error
message in the system log files.

 the pppd dies after few seconds . i have given a pause of 3 seconds after
entering the username & password(using script).the ppp is started on the
remote system.i am using DLink 56k modem.In Windoze the baud rate is 115200.
i tried the same for linux also.i  tried even19200.still does not work.

i checked the /etc/services . the protocols are not listed there.
