  I  have exprimented the whole day reading documentation and changing things 
and fnally got around the problem by  giving the following command     
smbmount "\\\\cs_ntserver\\i" -U prince% passwd  -c  'mount /home/prince/nti
- -u 0 -g 457'  
        ( cs_ntserver\i is share name and prince is the user name)

previosly my  -u option was set to some other value . I think 0 is the U ID  of
root . ( Gurus please correct me if i am wrong)
 Can anybody explain what it means

Now another prroblem has come up 

   User cannot unmount . Is there  any similar  options to be given to umount
   please help
