[LI] kppp problem

Hi All,
 
I created myself a user and tried connecting to the net.  when i click kppp, i
get the following error - kppp is not properly installed.  i say ok and then
click connect and i get this msg - sorry, can't create modem lock.
 
kppp works fine as root.
