Most probably a Hardware / RAM problem.
 
A detailed document regarding this error is available in the PCQ RedHat5.2
(May 99)CD. (Not sure in which directory it is located in - but when
installed, it turns up in the /usr/doc/FAQ/txt directory with the filename
GCC-SIG11-FAQ.)

The latest version of this FAQ is supposed to be available at
