can any body help

hi guys,
I am a database related application developer but i am
not very much interested in it. i want to work on
Unix, c,c++. due to my past experience i am getting
jobs only on databases related application's . i
learnt myselg c,c++ and java very well. but i dont
have any commercial project experience on the
c,c++,java. can anybody help me in getting the job i
want?. Pay is not at all a problem.
