I do not know this 1024 cylinder (2**10) limitation of linux. In my PC I do
not face any such problem. Guru's - any comment.

U create a partition - primary or secondary and then declare file system as
swap or linux native. Run fdisk to create partition, use p to see the
partition table rest is self explanatary.
