use linuxconf command and get to the tcp/ip add new if you haven't created 
and then

don't write ">" in the expect as '>' and 'ppp' aren't need to be typed in 
atlease here in delhi just write sername -> blah@blah
assword -> blah...
expect ~
and carry on .
